Sandy Pirie wins North-east District
seniors title for first time

Former Walker Cup player Sandy Pirie (Hazlehead) won the North-east District seniors' golf championship for the first time at misty Peterhead links today.
Sandy matched the CSS of 72 to win by a shot from John Cramond (Newmachar) with John Sim (Duff House Royal) and Alistair Fiddes (Deeside) joint third on 74.
There was a field of 64 competitors.
