Harrington scoffs at being rated
one of Ireland's greatest

FROM THE AOL GOLF NEWS SERVICE
Open champion Padraig Harrington has refused to be pigeon-holed as one of Ireland's greatest sportsmen, claiming it would hinder his chances of further success.
The Dubliner swung an historic successive victory last Sunday, finishing four shots ahead of England's Ian Poulter to join the exclusive club of back-to-back winners.
At his first major press conference since retaining the title, the 36-year-old said although it was nice to be among Ireland's sporting greats he would not be focusing on it.
"I don't think I can allow myself to think about that. I think you look at a career at the end of the career," he said. "I still feel like I'm in the middle of it.
"I'm not going to sit back and start looking at that and start making comparisons because it would only hinder my ability to go forward.
"It's very nice to be in the category of Ireland's great sporting heroes, but I'm not going to put much time in it at the moment because it would definitely hinder your ability to set goals and move forward."
